07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

Bror Jace, I didn't see the necessity to site specific examples. The forum has many, not just the occasional naysayer, that you see in most models.

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

Toyotanation.com owner's reviews isn't as critical, but on the first page there's a multi-page thread entitled: (Another "my 07 is sluggish!" thread) along with a few others addressing tranny issues.

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

Not a hate thread at all. Just a surprising observation from a car fan about a very popular model. http://autos.yahoo.com/2007_toyota_camry_le_5_spd_at-reviews_user/

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

I'm not making this up. Go to yahoo autos and search 07 Camry LE 4 cylinder AT for yourself. Then, search any other similarly priced sedan, e.g. Accord, Sonata, Impala, G6, Fusion, etc ... and tell me if the Camry doesn't get the worst owner's reviews.

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

Go to an owner's review forum, particularly yahoo autos. As I posted, the overwhelming response is negative, not just the few that you find in most car models.

    '06 Buick LaCrosse -- opinions?

I've searched for a 1-2 year Buick 3.8l that wasn't a prior rental with no luck.

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

You can research any car and the majority of new owner's are happy with their purchase, but this generation 4 cylinder Camry is getting ripped to shreads. Most comment on the erratic AT.

07 Camry LE, AT - many poor owner's reivews

I've don't every recall reading as many negative owner's reviews about a modern sedan on autos.yahoo, edmunds, etc ... as the 07 4 cylinder Camry LE. I'd say the reviews are overwhelming negative.

    Compare GM's V6, e.g. 3.4, 3.5, 3,8

mstrjon32 Thanks for the advice. I don't really need a car the size of an Impala although I know you can get a pretty good deal on them. I was thinking if I could get the same drivetrain, and still save the weight of the Malibu/G6 vs Impala, that's the way to go.

    Compare GM's V6, e.g. 3.4, 3.5, 3,8

Since there's a better selection of the LZ4 in the Pontiac G6 should I consider it? Guess what I'm asking is "is Pontiac as good (from a quality standpoint) as Chevrolet?

    Compare GM's V6, e.g. 3.4, 3.5, 3,8

It's next to impossible to find a 2007 3.5l LT Malibu in these parts right now. It's also unclear if Chevy will offer a 2008 Malibu "Classic" (current body style) before they release the new body style later this fall.
