Just some food for thought for those who believe in using full synthetic. So in canada penzoil platinum or ultra platinum regularly goes on sale at 50% off. This makes a 5L jug cost $22 - $30 (depending on which) for a very highly rated oil. The local oil change shop (great canadian oil change)...

I recently changed my fluid after watching a video on youtube.. I got a dorman pan from rockauto... for $170ca... this pan looks identical to it... same looking gasket, 4 magnets, ect... lol just my luck

This comes up alot these days.. especially with dodge/chrysler as all of there 8 speed transmissions are marketed as "fill for life". There is a pretty good video on this subject that is very detailed (a little long) it also talks about fluids, shows specs, part numbers, other service options...

There is a pretty good video about this on youtube.. its kinda long but just skip ahead to section 2 fluids... he shows the specs on a chart for several different fluids.
