I've run it for 1k miles before an oil change at the 1oz/qt, and it cleaned a bunch of carbon out of the motor and found it in the filter. No ill effects afterwards as well. Would/will use again.

My buddy has a 17 Pacifica and we did 3x drain and fills with Maxlife atf last year. On the last one i added 12oz of Lubegard Red. He was having some harsher shifts and it is shifting nicely now after several thousand miles now.

If you want to try the VRP, you could put a bottle of Schaeffer EP Moly in it and it will bump the viscosity to over a Xw40 grade. Probably closer to an Xw50 as it is very thick but it also has additives and is not just a thickener like Lucas.

Nothing wrong with the 5w30 Maxlife Blend you have been running. I ran that for many years in my gm 3.1s, 4.2, 5.0 and 5.7s. Any Xw30s will run fine, if you want a very good one M1 ESP 0w30 or PP Euro L 5w30 would work very well and easily available at wallyworld
