    Are Smart Watches really "Smart"??

It is a wrist computer not a watch. Buy a watch

Using thicker oil in an older engine?

I run in my 93 5.7l up to 15w40, has 10w40 in it now and what it usually gets year round. I've got around 162k miles on her and she purrs like a kitten. Running thicker will not harm anything.

    Egg panic in my area.

Glad our stupid chickens started laying again after a few months hiatus. They were getting expensive to feed plus eggs are running higher here as well.

Add Lubegard red at every fluid change ?

I believe they use the additive in there line of atf's, so it should not need it.

    Coated Rotors vs uncoated.

If in S. Cal, I'd just buy non-coated and save the cash to put towards better rotors or pads. Even up in the salt belt I don't see the coated lasting a whole lot longer even. I've used both and experienced no real difference. Just my 2c.

    Mercon question

You could use Valvoline MV Import syn ATF fluid as it meets Mercon, (and Dex3) and is pretty cheap on zon at $20/gal. Has visc of 6.9cst as well. I have it in my Ford and Honda now and will be putting it in my Chevy that specs Dex3. Not sure about your Dodge though. Another option would be M1...

    ATF for Power Steering?

Use Lubegard Honda ps fluid. I swapped it into my Element and wish I had sooner. Very smooth and feels lighter even with wider than factory tires

    K24 and 10k OCIs

I had been a Dw-1 only since I bought my Element but this time I went with Valvoline MV Import syn ATF. No difference so far in shifts, will do 2 more after about 1k miles. I wanted a synthetic, V MV Import has ATF Z1 spec and at $20/gal it can't be beat. My Element was also ATF Z1 spec when new

    Liqui moly 4200 vs 4600 vs M1 ESP 5W30

I run 10w40 in my SBC and started just fine at -9°f last month. Your temps are insignificant for the oil and your car, just pick 1 and run it all year, no issues with either. I would personally run V EP 5w30 but pick the easiest to acquire, out of your choices and call it a day

    F150 5.0 Coyote Louder After Valvoline R&P?

My 04 Expedition 5.4l 2v always had noisy injectors unless I ran tcw3 2 stroke oil in the gas. Since you are consuming oil, I'd keep the VRP and add some tcw3 2 stroke oil, 1oz/5gal and see.

    K24 and 10k OCIs

This one makes 3 if you can get it out without breaking. Mine has a minor oil weep, tried pulling it out but didn't want to break it. I left it as it isn't that bad, it is just a simple oring but man is it stuck

    K24 and 10k OCIs

Valve adjustments is priority every 80-100k miles. Change fluids regularly and if you haven't you may want to change the vtec screen at the solenoid and behind the power steering pump. Change the diff fluid with only Honda Dual pump II fluid.

Run that engine before moving the car

Summer time, let them warm up for 30 seconds to a minute to come off high idle. Winter they get 5 to 10 minutes or more depending on weather. Defrosting the windows and warming up is more important than the few pennies/quarters in gas. Plus if the old trucks don't warm up in the driveway they...

Do automatic transmissions need to warm up?

I give my vehicles about 5min to warm up in the winter and even longer as it was -3°f. Windows need to defrost, and if you don't let it warm up in our trucks first, you will not have heat for a long time, 350sbc and 460bbf. The Honda gets about a minute or 2, garage princess, unless the...
