    There was no engine failure, I meant to say that after the 1st 5 hours I used Shell Rotella T5 10W-30, instead of saying break the engine in on, I said what I said. I was told by a member here to use Dino oil for at least the 1st 50 hours.

    The only way to find out is to use VRP for a few OCI's. What are your OCI's like on this car? I would want to buy an oil and put it in and have fewer top offs, is that oil Mobil 1 EP HM or is it VRP?

    With the Oil Temperature being 230 that you are seeing, do you know where the temp reading is taken from? I hope that oil temp is not being taken from the Oil Pan!
