Just replaced the Bosch CAF in my 18 Legacy with a PureFlow HEPA PC5667HX. The Bosch looked to be in good condition. First time trying the Pureflow. We'll see how it works.

Subaru Owners, which diff fluid viscosity do you use?

Thanks all. I didn't want to mention brand but it looks like 75W-90 is the consensus. The 2 brands I have been considering are either HPL or Amsoil SVG. I'll probably go with SVG with my preferred pricing and no other particular reason.

Subaru Owners, which diff fluid viscosity do you use?

I have a 2018 Legacy Sport and a 2019 Impreza Sport. Both call for Extra MT which is a 75W-80. There is a TSB to change the rear to 75W-90 due to a potential whining noise. What I am curious about is whether fellow Subaru owners are going to 75W-90 or using say a 75W-85. I already had my...

    Lets talk about Bourbon

I got one of those from one of my local stores last year. I haven't checked to see if they have a new release for this year. I thought it was good but for me the Booker's and Stagg Jr are better. Not knocking your choice. You know how taste is... BTW, I bought 2 bottles so I have one more...

Love the smell; hate the taste. But, I am NOT judging! Had my fair share of them.

Cigar Aficionados' of BITOG, what are you enjoying?

Had this Graycliff the other day. Buried in my humi for god knows how many years; probably close to 15 or more. Had a Diesel Rage Toro yesterday.

    tru with michelin

I have Pilot Sport PS2s on my B5 S4 that were installed I think in 2010. I don't drive the car, but I can tell you when I look, I don't see dry rot. I will need to replace them, but I have things to do before I can really drive it like registering it again, then trying to pass inspection and...

Cigar Aficionados' of BITOG, what are you enjoying?

I was lucky years ago. I was able to get 3 boxes of the 15 count samplers. I think I got 1 left in the humi. Wish I could get my hands on a Sand Shark but those are more elusive than UFO sightings.

    Lets talk about Bourbon

I have yet to try Michter's. I will eventually, but I have so much to get through plus I'm about to get the first 2 releases of Bookers 2025-01 and 02. I also have 3 bottles of Bruichladdich coming from the distillery; the Rock'ndaal 2025 releases. I'll post pictures when they show up. Going...

Cigar Aficionados' of BITOG, what are you enjoying?

Had these the past week. The did not like the EP Carillo. It was part of one of the CRA packs I got a few years ago. The RP was good. The GoF was great as always. I got that GoF when it was released in 2012. My favorite is still the GoF Don Carlos Robusto 2005 and 2006. Never got to have...

post your latest transmission lubricant change.

My shop that I have been using for years used to be $100. Now they are up to $150 in the past year plus. Might have to find a new place or god forbid, go back to the dealer which isn't much more

Cigar Aficionados' of BITOG, what are you enjoying?

I haven't had one of those in years but they were a great Sumatra wrapped smoke. For a short period of time, they used to hand those out at JRs when you got a meal.
