    Purolator PureOne 10,560 miles

Same oil and filter back in. He wants to keep it consistent since he's been doing UOAs. I've never used Castrol myself but seeing how it does for him I'll certainly never shy away from it if the price is right.

    Purolator PureOne 10,560 miles

Filter from my brothers Chrysler 300, ran with Castrol GTX for 10,560 miles. UOA pending. He ran the last change 6k and Blackstone suggested he could do 10k. I thought the filter looked great, hopefully the UOA comes back good as well.

How Many of You Use High Mileage Oil?

My 09 Corolla had a slight oil leak (a seep? It took a long time before it made a noticeable spot of oil on the engine) and switching to HM oils stopped it. Maxlife and PPHM mostly.

Unknown brand filter off a coworkers 05 Chevy Malibu with the 2.2 Ecotec. 130k miles on it. I believe he said he ran this OCI some 7 or 8 thousand miles. Bulk conventional oil, only 2 quarts drained out when I changed it. I hope you can see the hole clean through the media in those pictures...

    Transmission Swap

I have a 09 Corolla with 171k miles and a dead transmission. The shop is putting in a used one with 73k miles on it, and are giving me a 12k mile, 1 year warranty on the replacement, which I thought was nice. The owner must feel good about this unit, since the yard he got it from only offered...
