    Weird Issue with Windshield

When I encounter a windshield that has an issue like you describe, I like to scrub it with Bon Ami cleanser with a sponge and a little water. After rinsing and drying, a coating of Klasse AIO (or other paint sealant) will cause the water to bead on it.

Hello fellow Saab owner! If you haven't already, I suggest posting this on the appropriate sub-forum at SaabCentral.com. There is a lot of technical expertise there.

    ETHANOL TREATMENTS FOR SMALL ENGINES?

I've had some problems running E10 with my chainsaw. On most of my small engines I run E10 until toward the end of the season, at which time I switch to either 100LL avgas (with a little Sta-Bil added) or the expensive "engineered fuel" they sell at Lowes or Home Depot. My chainsaw is rarely...

At first glance that shotgun seems pretty ridiculous. But it seems to get high marks for reliability. It probably fills a niche somewhere. But I'll stick with my Wilson Combat 870 for defensive shotgun needs.

    Generator no start before snowstorm

A lot of people are having trouble starting their generators, and I'll bet it's from having bad gas sitting in the carb. In most of Maryland you cannot escape ethanol in your gas unless you buy 100LL at an airport. I suggest you not store the generator for long periods with ethanol in the tank...

Recommendations for classic bolt action rifle

It looks like an old Weatherby Mark V can be had on Gunbroker for around $900. Anybody have an opinion on those?

Recommendations for classic bolt action rifle

Howdy y'all, I'm seeking a bolt action rifle with the following criteria: - older than me ( - magnum .30 cal (.300 Winchester, .300 H&H, .300 Weatherby, etc) - original wood stock - don't mind a few dings and scratches from hunting use - ~$800-1,000 price range I've looked at the Weatherby...

Yeah, they seem to be rebranded Purolator filters. Nothing to get excited over.

Another American business sold to the Chinese

A couple years ago I was in the large appliance dept at my local Sears store, buying a HE washer and dryer. I also asked the salesman about refrigerators. He said he no longer recommends the GE ones because they had been going downhill for years.

    Post Castrol Super Clean

I use Purple Power diluted with about 2-3 parts water to clean tires and wheels, plus other things around the house that are very dirty or greasy. It works great, and really cheap if you buy the bigger jugs of concentrate. A 2.5 gal jug lasts at least two years for me.

Who services their own newer Pentastar 3.6 ?

My "work spouse" has a Dodge Journey with that engine. I do her oil changes and other routine maintenance. The cartridge filter on the Pentastar is very similar to the one on the 2012 Volvo that I recently traded in, although it used a different size socket. I had her buy the cheapest 1/2"...
