I do a lot of racing and track events, and redline is a great racers oil. I have no first hand info on Lucas. I used 75W90 Mobil 1 in my 99 Miata LSD and it seemed fine. Note that your spec is 75W80, not 90.

Redline would be my choice. 75W-80 GL4 is the spec for the manual transmissions. Go to their website and put in your vehicle info.

Awesome! Your 5.0 has a 7.7 Quart oil capacity and Port Injection. You can run it to the limit of the oil life monitor without concern. Use a high quality full synthetic oil and don't look back.

GZRider I don't agree that Mobil 1 0W-40FS is a good way to go for a motor that might have a problem. Too light at 12.9 cSt. I would use Redline or AMSOIL if the Castrol run still shows high Silver.

I have had great luck with Castrol 0W-40 A3/B4 oil in my Subaru's. I hope it works well for your application. Lived in Germany for three years, found Liqui-Moly to be very average.

I have been quite happy with Redline manual transmission fluids. If they make something for the spec you require, I recommend you give it a try.

Nice ride. You do know that plastic motor oil jugs/containers are 100% recyclable right? Just fully drain them into your car or another container and put them in your recycling bin. There is no reason plastic jugs should ever go to the landfill.
