Barely over 100k for a Toyota isn't impressive at all, more so when the auto parts stores ask $400 for a new alternator as opposed to $150 for Ford.

2017 4runner, 85k, 9 months 5k miles on oil. Out: 3 qts of Castrol Edge 0w16 and 3.5 qts of Castrol Edge 10w30, Baldwin filter. In: 3 qts of Castrol Edge 0w16 and 3.5 qts of Castrol Edge 10w30, Denso filter. Also side rotated tires, changed cabin filter and greased drive shaft.

Special order if you want to go back in with the original motor, being a 17 year old unit I'd throw in a rescue motor and call it a day, it's cheaper and customer doesn't have to go without air for the weekend. Service technicians now days are called selling techs.
