Anyone Own a late 90's Isuzu Rodeo or Trooper?

Anyone own or have any experience with a late 90's Trooper or Rodeo, 4WD, V6? Looking for a semi-beater class SUV to take hunting and pull a smaller cargo trailer. I know the auto tranny is a GM that has a less than stellar rep but that is most likely from no filter and fluid changes. The 4WD...

If 10mm is ok for bears, why not 357 mag?

The Dutch Marines that patrol Greenland use Glock 10mm's for Polar Bears. The Glock 10mm with its capacity puts more foot pounds of energy on target than any reasonable handgun out there.

I DIDN'T Follow COLLINITE FLEETWAX Instructions...........

I found where some one said to keep a spray bottle handy and mist the applicator pad and that helps ensure a nice thin coat of Fleetwax when applying. I will try that and will see if that helps.

    Gas Range/Stove Methane Emissions

In Canada, unvented gas appliances are ILLEGAL. Part of it is that many of their house are built so tight against the cold their is a sure chance of carbon monoxide poisoning. If you go out of your way to build a super tight house, you better get an air exchanger.

I used to be the "go to" guy in my PD for weapons knowledge and advice back about a decade ago until I was nearly killed when an old man turned left in front of me and my motorcycle. A near death experience will take some the fire out of your furnace for sure. I was always practical with my...

I DIDN'T Follow COLLINITE FLEETWAX Instructions...........

Not really, unless one pays for the Silicon Dioxide(ceramic?) coating. Easier, sure, but lets face the facts that there has not really been anything "ground breaking" in polish, wax or sealants in decades. It is all marketing. I run my cars through a commercial tunnel wash and all those Youtube...

    "V-twin" Oil

I have a friend who is the premier designer and manufacturer manufacturer of high performance cams for Harley-Davidsons and he swears by Penn Grade 20w-50. It's called "the original Green oil". This old formula used to be the original Kendall GT-1. However this formula was no longer used by...

Popular Science - April 1976 on Synthetic oil

The Illinois State Police back in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s ran Mobil 1 in their patrol cars. I spent of an hour talking to one of their fleet managers around 2005. He said back when the big three offered only 24 or 36,000 mi warranties on their cars they would change oil when it was...

Third world brake rotor manufacturing video

I used to shoot pistol matches with a guy who worked at the second largest fire hydrant foundry in the world. He told us 20 years ago it was cheaper to send scrap iron to China to have it melted down and then shipped back to America. His boss flew over to China and noticed that the men wore...
