Wix 57055 In my opinion the Wix/NAPA filters are higher quality than oem. Purolator's L14615 also meets Subaru's spec. However I haven't run a Purolator filter on anything since their media tearing issues began.

In my opinion either of the oils you mentioned Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Platinum would be an outstanding choice. As stated Pennzoil, contrary to the old wives tale, is one of the, if not the, best cleaning oils out there.

NAPA/Wix filters are an excellent choice for Subaru. Correct bypass setting and very good build quality. Easier for me than oem as dealer is in adjoining county. Currently running NAPA Syn and NAPA Gold filter on my son's 2018 Impreza 2.0.

Based on the current used car market, you might be able to sell it for more than you paid for it.😁

Long history here with Subaru from 1995 to the present. I've had really good luck with Valvoline synthetics in the 0W-20 flavor in the 2013+ Subaru engines. However, the last two oil changes on my wife's 2020 Legacy have been with QSUD 0W20. No consumption at all at 5k oci. As stated when buying...
