Passing Emissions Inspection with MIL On

    Waterproof locks.

I was looking through a locksmithing book I have and they show a Master "Weather Tough" padlock which may be suitable. Googling also brought up this series of padlocks. They mention that they are designed to channel water and debris away from the locking mechanism and I noticed they have a...

    Chevron Oil Products

I wholeheartedly agree with BoiseRob and sicko- Chevron lube products are outstanding, and in my opinion their Delo 400 is the best non-synthetic oil made.

    Oil for Honda Mower

I used to use M1 10W-30 in my 2001 Honda Harmony II but for the last few years I've used AMSOIL ASL 5W-30 and now ACD 10W-30/30. Using a xW-30 should be fine IMO, and perhaps better than a xW-40 in terms of shear stability. I have found my Honda mower to be truly outstanding in performance and...

    Amway

I have close to 100 pounds of the (now discontinued) Amway SA-8 "commercial" version with phosphates which should last me a while especially with a front-loader. I have long liked their laundry detergent but my recent experience with stuff such as Costco's Kirkland Signature unscented HE liquid...

How should these kids be disciplined?

Though I don't believe in doing so any longer, I suppose if I were to seek revenge I would strap them each in a wheelchair and send them down Dravus Street in Seattle, with Jersey barrier set transverse to the road at the bottom of the hill. Just a thought.

Are people going off the deep end ?

When it comes to deliberate noisemaking I prefer a carbide cannon made from a garbage can and a sparking plug. I no longer have my '65 Dodge Coronet 383-4V with factory dual exhaust (parted with it in '84) which used to irritate a former neighbor *several* houses down when I fired it up to go to...

What's on the grill this weekend?

I've been on vacation for about a week now and the place I'm staying at has a BBQ grill which I do not have at home. So, it has been *TRI-TIP STEAK* every night. Except for this (Friday) evening, only because I met some friends of mine in East Wenatchee and I had some of the best chili relleno I...

    Liquid Glass

I bought a gallon of LG a while back because I really liked how it worked on my Civic; it even holds up fairly well to the massive amounts of rain we have here!!!!! There's plenty of other good uses for Liquid Glass too. Yep, it's my favorite but YMMV.

Sprayway Glass Cleaner would probably remove it since it has butyl cellosolve in it but I'm speculating- Sprayway's the absolute best glass cleaner in a can IMO.

What is Your Favorite Brand Of Salsa?

I used to really like La Victoria Salsa Ranchera but I haven't seen it in a while, though it may still be available locally. I just bought a bottle of Pace Hot Chunky Salsa and it's pretty tasty IMO and it's good mixed 50/50 with Rojo's Pico de Gallo.

    Auto-RX Cleaning Result

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubb...766#Post1443766 May I suggest purchasing one of these Summit filter openers mentioned in the link if you want to save your digits, etc.- they work fantastic and the price IMO is quite reasonable.

1,000 miles into ARX clean phase, oil still clean.

Indeed, with only 1,000 miles on the treatment phase you probably won't see a lot- if anything- at all. The rinse phase is where the majority of cleaning happens as others have mentioned. Sprintman's suggestion of long trips if/whenever possible is a good one IMO. I wouldn't sweat it.
