Recycling a "water bottle" with engine oil stain, possible?

What a shame..I heard samsung s late chairman, who was an avid car collector and a driver, actually hired professional racing drivers to teach him and to run the cars time to time as he firmly believed these cars shouldn't be sitting around.

Recycling a "water bottle" with engine oil stain, possible?

Thanks and I was thinking along the same line as a friend who works in the hospitality industry talked about PET, PE, etc for recycling (especially for the hotel industry).....I will certainly stop contaminating additional bottles with oil...God knows I consume / discard alot of engine oils with...

Recycling a "water bottle" with engine oil stain, possible?

Thanks for your quick, great feedback. Our recycling center has various "sections": 1) used oil (in a large tank), 2) empty oil container, 3) old oil filters, and 4) batteries. Maybe I can dump a water bottle (with oil stain), if I use it again, with the empty oil containers?? I have no idea...

Recycling a "water bottle" with engine oil stain, possible?

I try to be environmental-friendly as much as I can, leveraing our town's recycling center to dump old oils, filters and containers, as we try all do. One time, I used an empty water bottle (dried), cut the bottom and used it as a funnel (which actually fit perfectly for our SUV as the fill...

Best place to buy Makita 18V tools

Just like oil brands, this is an individual choice as many major brand is "bad." When I started buying power tools years ago and trying to decide between DeWalt and Makita, I asked my brother-in-law who was installing solar panels, etc. He said "they are both good but Makita is a bit lighter...

Best place to buy Makita 18V tools

Less chance of getting a "fake" one for sure for going to Home Depot etc... Some lessons-learned over the years with my Makitas: 1. Take advantage of Black Friday sale of "kits / sets" - probably equivalent to getting a free tool and/or a battery vs. buying separately 2. Less common, tools...

Oil Change Interval for Low Use 10 Quart Mobil 1 Corvette

I would wait (especially with 10 qtrs) but your car / your money :) And sounds like you are burning off all that moisture on a monthly basis which is good. Why don't you send a sample for an analysis (either now or after 20 months) for peace of mind.
