The Honda Dax is one of the bikes that grabs my attention style wise. Others in the running, Kaw Z900RS, Triumph Bonneville, Honda Monkey before they started putting on plaid seats, Honda CT125....etc. I expect there are others but like the OP I'm over the whole insect inspired bikes thing...

I don't claim to be in the know but my pension is more than 19k and I don't pay much tax on my SS. I'm 65 and have been getting it since age 62. Maybe it's 19k from a job and not from a retirement?

I retired (on a full service pension) at age 49 and started taking SS at 62. As a two time cancer survivor, I don't regret my decision at all. I should note that the amount I qualified (worked) for and the amount I received was substantially different because of WEP. I always had a second job...
