I think you will be OK, I’ve mixed oil all of my life in several variations and weights, I changed the oil today in my Jeep. I mixed Mobil one with Lucas and added Lucas oil additive.

This is absolutely right, I think your overdoing it,,it’s a waste of money and time and transmission fluid, 30,000 miles on a transmission change is right on As stated above it’s your money but it’s ridiculous to do this

I have used it several times, RTV silicone gasket in case nobody knows, though I always try to use the seals and gasket’s, this is always a good option,I would use it
