    Coffee is coffee. Period.

I tried mushroom coffee once. Only once. It does provide a smooth “buzz” but is almost undrinkable. An “acquired taste” to be sure.

I don’t believe that Mexico and Canada have a long term plan to crush the USA. I believe China does. Short and long term.

I agree 100% that dependence on China for anything more important than cheap clothes is a big problem. I don’t understand the trade war with Canada and Mexico 🤷🏻‍♂️. AFAIK, neither of those countries pose any threats to the US. Luckily, I put enough cash aside in January to last a few years...

    guys over 50 doing maintenance

58 YO. I do all the maintenance, brakes, minor repairs on my 3 cars and my wife’s car. Oil changes for sibling and mom. Similar complaints as others about soreness and arthritis in hands, sometimes elbows. Biggest issue is something that started a few years ago. I get nauseous if I’m under a...

Stellantis in the USA is in the unenviable spot of having almost no product other than pickup trucks. (Chrysler, Ram, Dodge). Jeep has priced itself out of the (niche) market that it created. I’ve been a Mopar enthusiast for a long time, but the gutting started with Daimler, continued with...

Imagine if we had some serious incident with China or some other country, nd they cut off supply of blood pressure meds ( as an example) without warning. We got a taste of supply chain disruption during C19.

Tariff talk aside, we need to make pharmaceuticals here. It’s not safe to have vital drugs made overseas, especially by countries that are unfriendly to us.

I would add pharmaceuticals to that list. Scary how many vital meds are made outside the US. I don't like the recent uncertainty and drop in the markets, but I do think we need a plan to manufacture vital goods here. For national security reasons.

Miata Meets Uncle Rodney - A 2.5L Swap Story

I’ve read how Miata’s are great drivers cars, and I have to say it’s not the fastest car I’ve owned, but it is the most fun.

Miata Meets Uncle Rodney - A 2.5L Swap Story

Recently bought a 2008 Miata with the 2.0. Only 8K miles on it. Hoping the rods stay where they belong for a good long time. Watching this thread with interest. Should be interesting. Thanks for sharing the adventure.

Anything to consider if the Tundra is used less and parked outside?

My stepdad had an F150, and I did an oil and filter change for him. I was very surprised at the amount of surface rust on the underside. He parked it in a gravel driveway for years.

    5.7 Hemi spark plug question

Got the valve cover gaskets changed. Pass side is a huge PIA. Can’t come in straight with the cover, too much crap in the way. First attempt had a leak where I couldn’t even see it. Bottom rear corner. Must have hit the gasket on a rocker arm while trying to get it on. Not wanting to ever do...
