You might want to check if the tube/bottom bracket the bearings fit into isn't cracked from a hard landing.

Three ply duct tape...If that don't hold it the car is junk. I think you better look real good underneath. That's four ply area. FYI use a crisscross pattern for more strength on the four ply.

I've seen that type. You use a hammer and chisel and they come right off. Easy job.
