If the pond gets stable and balanced and the nitrogen cycle is working like it should. Many people need to help their ponds along with aeration, beneficial bacteria, weed control etc Definitely a good idea to mix the water and help limit stratification.

And many take surgery vacations to other countries. Most complaints are waiting for surgeries and such. When everyone is covered and using services of course there will be a wait for non emergencies. Is having no coverage or going bankrupt better?

And you can't really price shop here. What if you could and Insurance companies gave you a break for it.

Yes, I am embracing retirement mode with bird feeding and now gold fish. The wife is calling them my wives. They are funny. They know when I turn off the pumps that it is dinner time. They come out of hiding and wait for me to feed them.

Most other countries learned long ago that the only way to contain costs was a universal system. And Medicare has a funding issue. The Medicare tax rate hasn't increased in decades even though more are on it, live longer, takes more drugs and have more expensive procedures.

How so when we have relatively free markets and our healthcare is the most expensive.

I took SS at 62 but still worked part time for some extra cash and something to do. Sure is more fun not "having" to work and having more free time. My dad died at 72 and my mom at 85. I figured I might make my break even point so taking it early made sense
