I would especially because there is no serviceable filter. I did that with my Santa Fe. I'd even think about putting an inline filter on, I used Magenfine on my Santa Fe.

If we changed the oil on a customers car we would mark the filter with a date and the oil drain plug position. On my own I don't mark anything.

Ditched our Brita almost a decade ago in favour for an RO system. Filters are cheap and the RO membrane I get 5 years out of before it needs replacement. We pull a lot of water through the system for cooking / drinking. I would never go back to a Brita again as the taste is superior with RO...
