I have used their 5 gallon ATF boxes which should be the same. Set the box on the edge of your bench with your jug of choice under and the spout works great. Only issue is getting the last pint or so out. Just take the bag out of the box at that point.

Unlikely full synthetic Maxlife will make any difference one way or a other over a few months until spring. Pick a nice day and swap the easy front gasket you can see leaking. You will get an idea if it is sludged up or not and gain confidence to do the other.

That vacuum pump is for the brake booster, needed during AFM activation for vacuum. It can be bypassed. Remove the belt and run a tee fitting and some hose to the booster off the PCV line for about $10 and 15 minutes. If you want to remove the pump totally, they sell plugs for the oil holes. Few...
