    2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport - 1.6L TGDI

Pennzoil P/UP a great choice. I always stick to the Shell/Pennzoil family on my cars.Do yourself a favor and pick up a multi pack of the OEM oil filters. Hyundai Mobis makes them specifically designed for Hyundai and Kia cars which account for some particular quirks in these GDI engines. They...

    Nokian WR G4

Best tire I've ever had. I roll around Boston and they are solid all year round in my experience, but especially in rain, snow, and ice. Do yourself a favor and dive in. I have had two sets of WRG3s and the WRG4 will be next.

2007 Ford Focus - drinks like a fish

Cat ladies can be a bit cray cray so just watch your six and if you feel like it'll end up being more trouble than you want to deal with nothing wrong with the ole "sorry ma'm, this calls for an expert" schtick. But you're a good soul, cheers!

Need advice for a new 2018 Ford Focus 2.0L DGI

Why wouldn't you do what the factory recommends? No reason not to here. But man watch that transmission. I think they figured it out but those from the first half of this decade were god awful.

    Painting an Older Car

Thanks for all the advice and feedback. To speak to it generally, I would not be expecting perfection or miracles from a basic level job at a MAACO. Just an improvement on where it is at. But I am also intrigued by the idea of giving it a real professional detail first and seeing what happens...

    Painting an Older Car

So the wife's car is approaching the end of the road but she refuses to buy a new one. She absolutely loves her Hyundai as it's been a wonderful city car and has gotten her from college through graduate school, and in August she'll begin prescribing medicine. Only is at about 55K with new...

    Nokian Entyre 2.0

Love Nokian Tyres. Their entire line is fantastic, and the all weather models (WRG3 and WRG4) might be the best New England tire ever made. Can't go wrong in my book, and Nokian will have their US palnt online in the next few years. They will be running neck and neck with Michelin and...

    Aftermarket Wheel Advice

Long story short. I am spending more time driving and it will continue into the summer, so planning to pick a new set of aftermarket wheels for the Rio. Something a bit more sporty, fun, and good looking but aiming to avoid a harsher ride. What does the forum recommend for sizing? I have been...
