Hi all . I have to agree that running a larger suitable oil filter is a good idea , I have an 06 FXT and I use the FB Tokyo Roki 15208AA160 oil filter on my EJ255 . And yes the oil filter faces downwards on EJ25's . My engine has the next size up 11 mm oil pump and I use 0W40 mineral diesel oil...
