    Whirpool washer problem

Winner winner chicken dinner! I discounted this possibility at first, because I couldn't get it to go through any of the reset procedures. After manually lowering the drain hose when it should have been draining, and draining it that way, I eventually got it to go through a reset and start a new...

    Whirpool washer problem

Whirlpool top load W10468410. Went downstairs to throw the washed clothes onto the dryer, and the washer was stopped (not sure at what point it had stopped). Normally a green light will be on indicating which part of the cycle it's on, along with the red lid lock light. In this case, only the...

    Temperature on New car

Modern cars will typically set a CEL if the coolant temp is too low, or even reaching normal temp too slowly.

    extreme cold

Anyone else in the middle of the arctic blast? NWS reports -20F, wind chill of -38F, in my town this morning. It's been this way the past couple mornings, and supposed to be the same tonight, then we'll see a warming trend. Highs in the 50s this weekend!

I want to waste money on a transmission additive

I seen people use this ridiculous argument before. I guess they forgot to tell General Motors, Ford Motor Company, etc.

    mystery misfire issue?

I had a 98 Cherokee 4.0 with a misfire on #1, and none of the usual suspects fixed it. Finally found a TSB about using Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner, which helped but didn’t eliminate the problem. I replaced both valve springs on #1 and it was fixed.

You should have struts on the front, so no upper ball joints.

BG Syncro Shift II instead of Auto Trak II?

I would probably leave it in. I have no experience with this fluid, but I put Valvoline Transfer Case Fluid in my daughter's Trailblazer which specs Auto Trak II, and it works fine.

What is the safest coolant system sealant

See if you can find some Dike by Conklin. It is labeled as a temporary stop leak, because as long as it's in the cooling system it will seal, but as soon as you drain/flush the system, it will be gone. It is sold in pint bottles, and I usually start with a half bottle, which usually does the trick.

My Journey Begins, Cancer and Medicare, Maybe this will help some others one day

I wasn't there the day of the surgery, so I'm going off of what my mom told me. I know there was mention of more bleeding than the Dr expected, and also they had trouble keeping his blood pressure stable while under anesthesia. The third factor she said was something about the fat tissue being...
