    I checked the vent hose and it was open with no oil around it. This car has no pcv valve interestingly enough.

    It was a rental. I bought it 6 years ago at 93000 miles. Only thing I've had to do to it of note was replace a fuel pump. I've got my money's worth out of it and I'm not complaining I just don't understand the oil consumption pattern.

    I have a 2005 Chevy Classic with the 2.2L 4 cyl. This started at about 150000 miles. It doesn't need oil after a change for about 3000 miles. I normally change at 5K intervals. After it starts needing oil it goes progressively less before needing another qt. Last time I changed it at 4700 miles...

    I'm running MMO in gas and I top the oil off with it as it leaks about 1 qt between changes. I just started this recently. Tick still there. Any suggestions?

    What makes Lucas so good?!?

    I use Lucas 5th wheel lube and the 5th wheels look much better at the next service than they did when we used grease. It's the only Lucas product I use. I like MMO.
