    Chevy 1.4L Turbo and Octane

I started using shell 93 in my 1.4T cruze and it seems to shift smoother and drive better overall but I didn't detect a power difference yet.

    SuperTech Dexron VI discontinued?

That's funny I have 10 quarts of Supertech DexronVI waiting for me at Walmart I just ordered online last week. It was very affordable. I'm going to do two drain and fills on my cruze

    Shock Replacement Options

If you can afford it and both front and rear are original, replace both the ride will go back to original quality. That is if you plan on keeping it awhile.

I do like high saps oils. Autozone clearance could also dictated my future changes.

Let's pick my oil, 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo

I was wrong as my stash. I have 5 single quarts of edge 0w30 SL made in Belgium left. I guess that's going in the cruze next then I'll be considering the M1 0w40 as well as the Dexos2 at Walmart. I was also considering.

Let's pick my oil, 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo

I'm not exactly worried about the dexos spec, but I'm definitely using full synthetic or whatever high end oil I can get at Walmart most likely. I guess using the Mobil 1 0w40 or Edge 0w30/40 isn't a bad idea.

    PGL in dexcool application?

As long as you get all the old fluid out the peak will work great. I didn't know there was any reason to avoid Dexcool in the newer systems I thought they were designed properly? I would also consider G05/Motorcraft Gold if you're open to other stuff, I run G05 in my Buick.

So I bought a car. Pics inside.

I bought 10 quarts of Supertech DexronVI on Walmart website and will be shipped to store for pickup by the end of next week. I was going to explore other fluid options but I couldn't pass up the price at 3.50 per quart. I haven't seen a single quart of DexronVI on the shelf at Walmart in store...

Let's pick my oil, 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo

I was hoping more people would agree with me that I should use a euro 0w30/40. I'm already using my edges 0w30 so we'll see how it goes. Originally Posted By: Charlie2015 M1 15w50 Lol no way Originally Posted By: Snagglefoot Read your manual grasshopper. The proper oil is 5w-30.i If it...

Let's pick my oil, 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo

I need to decide on what oil I'm going to be using in my 1.4T cruze. Currently it's at 52k on the odometer. I am not only trying to decide which one but also if I should deviate from the manufacturer viscosity recommended 5w30 or 0w30 in extreme cold is allowed. So far I'm wanting to use...

Oil leak 2012 Chevy Cruze 1.4 turbo

I have an appointment to drop the car off at the dealer next week as part of the agreement when I bought it to repair a hole in the front bumper cover and they said they will look at the coolant leak at the same time.

Lucas Extreme Gun Oil is legit! Almost as legit as

Lucas has a reputation for making less than high quality motor oils and other products, I don't have much confidence in their products. I use a Amsoil gun oil now but before that I used Mpro7.
