    Fererro buying Kellogg

I really could care less about Kellog as a brand, but that fact that more and more public companies can be so easily taken private simply confirms that we continue to be played by our central bank masters and all their liquidity injections. All the money is at the top.

    Am I overthinking 120,000 miles?

2.4 tigershark engine has been subject to many problems and class actions including for oil burn. Not many options in that category - this, transit connect, NV200. I honestly would look for an older full size van. But your right, there all beat to death.

    How to tax EVs

Would still be too low. Road wear is a function mostly of PSI in the tires and overall load. Typically mpg now is probably double of 1993, and tire pressure is higher - in some cases to help get to that higher MPG. The biggest offenders of not paying is freight. Yes they pay more per gallon...

    1965 442 value guidance

I sort of doubt this. Bell bottoms are back in. Only old guys own these because there currently the only ones that can afford to. I couldn't drop $15K on a old car I drove once in a while - college, braces, etc. Selling to a stranger is no guarantee he will appreciate it, even if he...

    2025 Toyota Rav4 engine oil update, 5w-30

I have used in my 2.5 dynamic force Rav4 engine 0w-16 (free dealer changes), 0W-20 once because thats what I had, and 5W-30 now. It continues to motor down the road somehow, seemingly uncaring. 🤷‍♂️

Can GM key fob be unprogrammed from vehicle?

Thats really good advice. I think you can sign the purchase agreement, but its not really sold until you take possession. Of course this assumes you did not need the ride.

Can GM key fob be unprogrammed from vehicle?

True but the OP said it was 2nd key not the valet key, so presumably if they try it in anything it won't work. If they throw it in the drawer and forget about it then ya. I would try a new key at least once. Maybe I am odd.

Mobil 1 FS European 0w-40 5qt at Walmart

I bought a bunch, but it was shipped and sold by walmart, not 3rd party. There was a similar deal with Edge as well.

Mobil 1 FS European 0w-40 5qt at Walmart

I don't believe walmart sends the CC info to 3rd party marketplace sellers. The transaction is sent but not the cc data. That is the whole point of the secure transaction platform - walmart.com, amazon, ebay etc. They do get your name and address. Not sure how that helps them because if you...

    12V battery charger question

Maybe a new one would get to a higher charge. The thing I don't like about the older ones is they charge at too high a current and cut out too soon - there float control is too rudimentary. Of course the old ones will charge a battery when its very low which the new ones will not. There is no...

Can GM key fob be unprogrammed from vehicle?

Given the key is of no use to the other guy he will likely return it. Usually you can remove the key codes stored in the BCU / ECU. You usually want to anyway since there is a limit to the number of key codes it will store.

    oil for a marine 351w?

They run backwards comparatively, and hence has a different cam. Other than that, not much. I agree that they were not known to have cam problems like some other flat tappets, and in this case they didn't make enough power to really hurt themselves. If you get further up the HP curve the weak...

When I rent a intermediate car I almost never get one, but they usually go up. If you didn't want that car you should have asked for a different one. I have. There usually pretty accommodating if they can be.

Are German cars safer than Japanese or American cars?

Safest is to stay out of an accident. So the passive tech might in the end be more important. After that, the most likely accident is your rear ended. In that case for the most part mass wins. German, Japanese, USA assembled mass probably does not matter that much. Euro cars in the past...
