Trenching PEX for air to a shed?

26 Gallon 150 PSI Compressor in the garage. I use it with a 65ft rubber hose reel in the garage with no issues for anything I'm doing My thinking is that if I run 1/2 or 3/4 PEX to the shed, I can at the very least use it to blow out dust and stuff, and I could also potentially get a much...

Trenching PEX for air to a shed?

Really? The general consensus online seems to be that its great I don't see how anything other than a metal pipe would be better temp wise, its hot AF here in Houston no matter what pipe you use

Trenching PEX for air to a shed?

Well, the trench will be there regardless, so that's free 100ft of 1/2 PEX is what, $30? A decent compressor is going to cost upwards of $200. I just don't want to kick myself for not doing it. It would be hopefully a completely fitting free run the majority of the way

Trenching PEX for air to a shed?

I'm FINALLY building my shed, and I'm getting the plans together for the trench for power and networking That brings up the question of if I should run air out there from my garage over just buying another compressor? I was thinking of running 1/2 PEX Would there be a problem of condensation...

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

See, so at this point we are comparing high end Pro saws with cheap, budget battery saws. Go try some higher end battery saws! You could do the exact same argument comparing a pro saw to a $99 gasoline saw

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

I don't see how you couldn't do all of that with a battery chainsaw

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

Out of interest, why? How many trees are you cutting down per day? Are you clear cutting the property?

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

Its too soon to tell for me, I only got into the platform in 2016 and so most of my batteries are still going strong other than the noted exceptions I can tell you I've spent more money on carbs than failed batteries

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

I had a few 9.0 HD's go bad, first one was replaced under warranty and second wasn't, but that battery had known issues. I took the pack apart and ditched the 3 bad 18650's, resistance and capacity tested the rest and use them in flashlights now, all Samsung 30Q's, no idea why the packs go bad...

Do gas chainsaws make any sense for a homeowner?

If you buy a battery chainsaw and only use the batteries in that one tool, yeah the batteries degrade. In my case I have a ton of M18 tools which I will always use, M18 shop vac, M18 mower, M18 trimmer, Drill, Driver, SawZall, SDS, Flashlights, Compressor, Circular Saw, etc etc So...

    24 Powerboost 2K review

Interesting, I have a 2019 with the 2.7 (Non PowerBoost, of course) that is 2WD with rear lockers and I kinda wish I had 4x4, just in case Only one time did I get sort of stuck, but of course I was running 6 year old stock tires which were terrible. Just got some Continental TerrainContact A/T...

    Honda EU7000iS vs Kubota GL7000

Wow, great replies, thanks guys Yeah, its like 2 completely different configurations, both being "good" choices, which makes it very hard My understanding is that there is enough rotational mass with the Kubota that it would provide stable power, just like a standby genset, but I may be...

    Honda EU7000iS vs Kubota GL7000

Odd comparison for sure, however hear me out I have what I would say is a reliable standby nat gas genset (Generac RG027, 1800 RPM, liquid cooled etc) but of course there are situations I have to turn it off during an outage, like to change the oil. There could also be a situation where there...
