    Oil for 73 Nova 350sbc est.3k mile a year

I just rebuilt the engine on my Capri and am going to use one of the Gibbs Driven oils for street cars. They have a mineral based 10w-40 with zinc that looks good.

Free lifetime oil change. FCP Euro.

The other factor is that FCP Euro has free shipping on orders over $49 and Rock Auto seems to charge top price for shipping some items. I agree for some items it wouldn't make sense, but for things like brakes, wipers, spark plugs, oil, air and cabin filters it does.

Free lifetime oil change. FCP Euro.

That can happen. While prices generally go up and not down, the converse is also true. If a price goes down, you get credit for the original (higher) price. I had that happen before. I just sent back a pair of front brake rotors. Paid $56 each a few years ago and they are now $63 ea. Cost me...

Free lifetime oil change. FCP Euro.

I keep my Volkswagens 12 plus years, so it's a no brainer for me to buy from them. I return everything I can including oil, filters, brakes, spark plugs etc. Just shipped back a pair of brake rotors this week. Got a $110 credit and cost me $26 to ship back.

Updated List of MTF's (both GL-4 and GL-5)

You posted a list of GL4 oils and I just reminded you of one readily available that you did not have on there. I specifically wanted a mineral based GL-4 oil and thought others with older vehicles may need that as well. I doubt a 50 year Ford, that sold over a million, uses a unique oil that is...

    Wheel center cap removal tool

Jegs has one flat fee for shipping and handling regardless of what is ordered, if you are under the free shipping threshold. Same as Summit. If you only need one smaller item it does kind of suck.

How do people get away with tinting a windshield?

I worked for a major OE glass manufacturer for nearly 20 years and no one in the industry ever referred to it that way. The correct term is Backlite. The company I worked for has been supplying glass for cars for over 100 years. Safelite is one of the very few glass suppliers that does not...

Anti-Roll Bar P Clamp broken cant get replacement.

Fiesta Mk 3 were quite popular in the UK. Lots of aftermarket support there. A couple other good UK sources are Tickover and Burton Power. I have used both for my 70s Capri

Anti-Roll Bar P Clamp broken cant get replacement.

I assume this is for a Fiesta. Have you tried Motomobil in Germany? Very reputable vendor for old and obsolete Ford parts. I have bought from them multiple times. If the page comes up in German, you can change to English as well as changing the currency on the upper right. www.motomobil.de

    O'Reilly's Disc surfacing

As I stated, new rotors are quite expensive as they have to be shipped from either England or Germany and shipping something of that weight is $$ It is for a collector car that only gets driven less than 2,000 miles per year. I'm replacing the original solid rotors that have been on there 25...

    O'Reilly's Disc surfacing

I had some done a month ago at a European Specialist shop I am familiar with. They were vented rotors for my 1970's Capri (OE was solid) that were originally sourced from Europe and while new ones are easy to find over there, shipping can get very expensive. I bought them used from a friend...
