    Grammar police, pet peeve.

Where is it AT? Where you AT? The word "like" used, like, every other, like, two words. The words "so" seems to be used at the front of sentences a LOT more frequently, nowadays.

Anyone else ever raise chickens for eggs or meat?

On a rural 1/3 acre in NM back in the 70s, we had chicken (egg and meat), turkeys, and even a pig once (named Chopsuey 😜 ). Dad used to do all the harvesting and mom did the final cleaning and freezing. Liver, hearts, gizzards and gravy always followed with rice/pasta and probably our home...

    vacuum to clean out car?

The front detaches so the hose attachment can be put on. I also have a Kirby G6 which has all sort of gadgets for the hose end and they fit the old one.

    vacuum to clean out car?

I have an ancient ('40s '50s?) Kirby that I use for things like this. Very inexpensive if you can find them on Craigslist. I think mine was $15 at the thrift store. Built like tanks and are still able to be maintained at this age. No bags and can be a little messy to empty, but it gets the...

    The Check That Bounced

We seem to think alike on this, Zee09. I am about as concerned with me paying someone as I am getting payed. I don't want to owe anyone anything and settle the debt ASAP. It's been a very long while where I've written a check and the receiver didn't cash it in a timely manner (month+). Was a...

    Chimney pigeon extractor

Not enough flapping room. I watched as it tried when I used the cord. It would have needed a mini-rocket booster for vertical take-off. I Googled "rocket boosted pigeon propeller" and came up negative. Even if there was, the attachment issue would arise and I might have ended up with a fried...

It's over, 19 years of bogus orders

Zee09, just out of curiosity, do you ever make parts for older paintball guns? I used to play and had an Angel Eclipse, a model which had a beefier board that could withstand temperatures better. I think they came out in the late 2000 (?) I sold it along with an Airgun Designs 68Automag...

The sun will rise in the west! Cox lowered bill

I remember the news when Google was coming to Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale and couldn't wait considering the price I was paying back then. I think it was a lawsuit by Cox against Tempe which nuked the deal for everyone at the time. It's two years out with my current plan and haven't heard...

The sun will rise in the west! Cox lowered bill

    (y) I looked up my address and a plan with Verizon which is comparable to what I have is $20 more, with the fine print saying I'd have average speeds of 85-250 down. I could go, pricewise, down to $45, but would have to sign up for the cell service. TM was similar. I occasionally check my...

    Chimney pigeon extractor

Considering my location in AZ, we have an average of about 47 minutes per year when it is a good time to enjoy a fire. Outside that, a fan and/or A/C might be needed.

    Chimney pigeon extractor

Due to a confrontation/encounter with a particular sky rat (aka: pigeon) in the chimney, a brainstorm to come up with a tool happened. Said bird scared the livin' bejeepers outta me as I was turning on the TV while a burrito was being nuked. It decided at this time to flap and thump in the...

    speakers or sound bar

Still rockin' the 2.1 speakers from my first computer from Dell (late 1999?): Altec Lansing ACS340. I'd do 2.1 over sound bar.

What are you working on today?

Emptied the oil catch can on the 5.0 as I today couldn't get it off while doing the OC a couple days ago while the engine was still warm. It came off easily with hands this morning and got about a 1/2 tbsp out. Cleaned it up and reinstalled.

The sun will rise in the west! Cox lowered bill

Wow! Time might start going in reverse! Mine went up over $200 in the past year. I just called my agent about my homeowners...I got one of those update letters so we'll se how that goes.

The sun will rise in the west! Cox lowered bill

I got an email from them for a deal of $50 for 250/25. Was $70 for 250/10. So I'm just warning everyone that some weird things might start happening in the world...humans rising from the grave, human sacrifice, dogs and cats, living together! They also had another option of $65 for 1gb/100...
