Ok, fair enough...but we are talking real money here...$40,000+. Surely, there should be a limit to how much one pays for vanity, emotion, "fun", and irrationality, right? I'll not define that limit for someone else, however, I will say that spending big $$ on a horrible vehicle should not...

This new truck is out of step with the times. How come no hybrid version? Why is it so expensive? Why does it guzzle gas? I suppose it will appeal to those in red states who deny climate change.

I've never understood why anyone would spend big $ on a Jeep when in most cases there are far, far better choices for the same or less $. You will not find a less reliable, less dependable make reviewed in most car rags than Jeeps. Only a Cult Following could explain how they are hot...

While in neutral, plaster the go pedal to red line, the drop it in drive while plastering the brake pedal, then immediately switch off the ignition...then have someone look at the tail pipe while you do this....if there is purple smoke or green or lavender colored smoke, then its a burner...
