Thanks for the information. That is what I was looking for to better understand this. From that info, I guess the micron rating is pretty useless and meaningless and the muti-pass efficiency is more of a real world test or spec.
I get that but just trying to understand the two specs and how they would be related.
All hypothetical...
Given a micron rating of 40 micron, would it be possible to have a multi-pass efficiency rating of smaller than 40 microns?
I am assuming in the Premium Guard specs that either the micron...
I am not skeptical or have a horse in the race. Just asking questions about why everyone thinks they are good filters.
I guess the question that I have is: Does the 40-60 micron rating make sense with the 99% multi-pass efficiency for particles as small as 25 microns? I assumed that it would...
That was the point I was trying to make, and is it all BS marketing not backed up by testing? I have never used these filters but just started looking at them since that is all you hear about now on this site.
Why does everyone say Premium Guards are the best and trust them when they are a foreign company that will not return any information? I also looked at their website and it appears that the regular Premium Guard has a lower micron rating (15-25) that the Premium Guard Extended Life is 42-60...
