    Seems like Honda Pilot just requires you plug in to a connector and hitch was included. I own 15 base model 4wd and tow. I hooked up included harness from previous owner in 15 mins.

    CVT was just bad design and Nissan was early adopter. Nissan have always been third tier choice of Japan with a few notable exceptions, still are however not sure of current exceptions if any that are decent.

    VW makes some amazing reliable vehicles in $4-$5k range however you need to narrow to the 2.5 5 cylinder or that 2.0 engine without a turbo.

    We happened to borrow an old Subaru skiing and Snowbird Utah actually had special very close spots that were Subaru only parking. No complaints about that at all. I believe official sponsored car at Snowbird is Subaru(on display). No Jeep owners took the spots and parking was sparse up close :)

    At that price point whatever you like best. It’s a throwaway car. It would be rare however losing $4k hopefully is a bummer not a problem in your life situation.

    Regular folks buy superior compact SUVs made by Japanese. The rental/commercial fleets get impacted with this in those states. I don’t know a single person at least in New England area who bought a recent Escape as personal vehicle. It’s a fleet vehicle.

    99% time it works out fine. I don’t spend much time on video however I do film wife’s Home Screen with date/time and car in background and continue to car. It’s basically the walk around so I know if I added damage during my rental vs preexisting.

    New Trader Joe’s opens across the street from existing location. Both staying open.

    We just get that with Dunks (Dunkin Donuts) in New England. Within 5 mins of my home there are 3 locations. I live where people have 1-2 acre lots and town of 5000 ish people.

    That sucks. Never an issue for me however I take a before video and after of car when returning
