    speeder in michigan.. 180mph!

Ages ago topping out an old Firebird 400 I hit a raccoon at well beyond 100. The car was lowered and I expected damage, but upon inspection there was just some fur/skin on the front sway bar. I didn't even wiggle the steering wheel...

    AFM/DFM disabler

Based on our fleet use of these engines in Silverado PU's I seriously doubt the mileage is increased 2 mpg for the average driver! The newer ones you cannot even tell if it's on or off.

    trade surprise

Just double checked KBB values and private party is 20k to 23k for my truck. I'm not selling or trading it, I love it. Some of you guys obviously don't have a Sport model with Ramboxes. We bought this and got a screaming good deal, I was just very surprised to hear it could still be worth that...

    trade surprise

The values are straight out of KBB. I never I never trade my vehicle's I always sell them out right. This guy is the client for many years, we know the family personally, he is not a car salesman. He is a general manager

    trade surprise

Yakking with my client about new trucks (he's a General Manager of a local dealership) and was stunned to hear that my 14 RAM is still worth north of 21k!!! I would never have expected that. Of course right now the market is dead, but it is unusual for a truck to hold that much value IMO. 90k...

    New rubber on the Challenger

Ouch, sorry you had to settle. Those Eagles are nice, but Michelin Pilot Sport 4's are so much better they might save your life. I'm no Goodyear fan, but I have real track time in LX based vehicles on Goodyear F1 Summers. They get really greasy when pushed hard and add to that the treadwear is...

Astonishingly the truck has a FACTORY REQUIRED plug change specified for 60k miles! News to me, as it was always 100k.

The van had a tiny stumble as it locked the converter in the upper gears. Ran and started excellent. FIVE worn to nuttin'! These are factory AC/Delco fine wire iridiums. In our other 6.0 powered trucks they last well past their scheduled interval of 100k miles!

Figured some of you may want to see the plugs from an 18 Chevy Express 3500 with the 6.0. 40k miles! Unbelievably short lived, these were OEM the truck is one year old.

trying to post pics, coming soon! I tell ya, I've had a ton of these trucks and this is the worst set of plugs I have ever seen in 48 years of driving and fixing cars or trucks!

So one of my newest trucks needs plugs. With 40k miles! This despite being AC/Delco iridium fine wires. Completely shot, worn to the insulator! I have run these plugs 200k miles in other vans but not with the new 6.0 with VCT. Can anyone explain how the interval was shortened so drastically?

My sig car has gone 176 and may have had a bit more. Supposedly it tops out at about 180 or so I've been told. 2006 300C SRT8. Curiously its factory limiter stopped it at 171 before the tune took it away. I am extremely certain that a Hellcat could do better!

    2011 Ram 2500 6.8L Penngrade

Coolant? Doesn't sound good to me. Looks like wear metals are a bit high for such a short interval but inconclusive. We've got a Cummins guy on here with a lot more experience than me! Besides you need a couple more of these to see a trend...
