I have a concern with Mobil 1 ESP because of Lake Speed's latest video about "Diesel" motor oil and some of the high Calcium figures I've seen in those using that oil as my engine is Direct Injected...LSPI concerns...at least with a Dexos 1 Gen3 rating I know that lower Calcium for LSPI...
well on Wednesday it should be $15 and change for a 5 quart jug and SuperTech is at least $18 and change...others with the rebate is a bit more than that...Kirkland needs no rebate but if it's not a good oil I'd like to hear it...it seems to be good oil (and should be the same as SuperTech and...

I appreciate ALL the answers and shared experiences here...thank you for taking the time!
my goal is to give my Subaru a quality product that will meet or exceed what the factory recommends without me making any mistakes merely to save a buck...
that said, the Kirkland 0W-20 meets or exceeds...
thanks guys...I appreciate ALL the answers given...the Kirkland oil DOES meet or exceed the specs required by Subaru...I thought lowering the OCI might compensate for any real or perceived differences in quality or additive packages...but I want to protect the eking as best I can and especially...
2025 Subaru Touring XT with of course the 2.4 turbocharged engine...I will be changing the oil next week and with the Costco sale coming up Wednesday April 9, 2025 for 2 - 5 quart jugs for $30ish I am curious if this oil is worth the buy or should I be using something else???

I was comparing the NGK7397 as looking like the OEM as originally installed ACD 41-110 you show in your photo above...
as to the ACD 41-162 on the RockAuto.Com site... obviously a glitch on the RockAuto site as I saw that when you go in under your 2010 it is listed as an iridium plug as you...
interestingly to me that Rock Auto lists the ACD 41-162 as double platinum but your box clearly shows they are iridium...
it seems like the NGK 7397 might be the same as the original to my ACD 41-110s...at least going by the photos I've seen at www.RockAuto.com

I also have had 100% reliability over MANY years with Tripp's Cobra Mag...he used to sell conversion kits to make your whatever mags, "Cobra" mags but the would make 8 round flush fit mags become 7 rounders...but also they would now be 100% reliable
Good luck with your choice

when I had tires mounted at Discount Tire and was keeping the old tires they were taking off, they removed the disposal fee (after I pointed it out)...there was no hesitation...
good luck with Walmart...I'd expect them to do the same for you...

thanks...I really appreciate it...I'm not new to turbocharged engines but am to the boxer engine and Subarus in particular although many friends and family have them since about 2014 and have not reported any issues with theirs...
