$200 transfer tax removed for short barreled rifles and shotguns

Why I'll never own one. I just can't justify in my head, the accessory costing 3-4 times the price of the gun.

    Just ordered a gun locker

Humidity is not a problem. It's in the furnace room. It's probably the dryer room in the house anytime of year.

Yahoo Mail not loading 40% of emails.

Yeah...I'm suspecting my account got hacked. I'm changing all the important stuff. Banking, credit cards, healthcare, Ring alarm, Amazon, even streaming services sign ins. Gmail is fine as I have a Pixel phone and tablet

Yahoo Mail not loading 40% of emails.

I have the Yahoo email account in Gmail too. Same thing. The other issue is I can't sync the Yahoo Mail on my Android phone and tablet. The "Sync Now" is greyed out.

Yahoo Mail not loading 40% of emails.

I don't know what happened but as of 2 days ago I'm not getting dozens of emails that normally come into my mailbox. My Ring alarm status, USPS Informed Delivery, dozens of marketing and promotional emails that I choose to receive. They're not going to spam or other folders either I thought it...

My Journey Begins, Cancer and Medicare, Maybe this will help some others one day

I went for my second MRI this AM since I got the cancer diagnosis in April 2024. It's pretty much identical to one I had mid July last year. Here's the laymen's summary that they conveniently provide: "1. PI-RADSv2 Category 2 - Low (clinically significant cancer is unlikely to be present). 2...

Anyone Here Own A Dueling Tree ?

I bought one a few weeks ago strictly for .22 shooting. I've used it at our club with my 10/22 at 25 yards and my Taurus TX22 TORO at 15. It's just plain fun. I bring a hammer to pound it in the ground...pretty hard soil around here. https://a.co/d/gqZK6tM

New Trader Joe’s opens across the street from existing location. Both staying open.

When did the brothers that owned Aldi Nord and Aldi Sud...one of them bought TJs in that time frame I believe.

New Trader Joe’s opens across the street from existing location. Both staying open.

I often wonder if they share the same suppliers for many products. I like Aldi better overall too. Easier to shop and get in and out fast, multiple self checkouts and overall good quality house brand products. There is a super busy Wawa near us on Rte. 1 South with another Wawa under...

Broilmaster P3 Natural gas grill burner flame adjustment

OK. Spent some time getting this thing right...in 93 degree heat on the deck at 0930hrs. I opened the Venturi screens and additional 25%, reamed a plastic barbed dental pick through the orifices and blew them out with canned air. Reassembled and tightened everything. It's definitely burning...

Walmart removing self checkouts, reported results include significant reduction in theft

No such insurance exists. Retail theft is simply a hit to the bottom line ...so are workers compensation claims,, general liability claims. Product liability claims get passed through to the manufacturer.

Broilmaster P3 Natural gas grill burner flame adjustment

Have a Broilmaster P3 grill natural gas grill and I recently replaced the manifold and valves assembly, the burner and new ceramic briquettes. The burner comes with the Venturi tube openings adjustment set to 50%. I'm just not sure if this is how the flame should look after 5 minutes or so...

Walmart removing self checkouts, reported results include significant reduction in theft

I have 3 Walmarts within a 10 mile radius of where we live. The 2 closest to Philadelphia have no self checkouts. The one in mushroom country has 6-8 that are always open and staffed by a front end supervisor even early in the AM. The store is spotless, the grocery store portion is huge and you...

    Cable TV and Costs?

I have the full boat Xfinity cable and Internet in our primary home. I pay $350/month for it which I just go with because my wife loves the ease of use. I ditched cable TV at our second home and went with Comcast/Xfinity Internet because I was paying about $335/month year round, even in the off...
