    Any 0w-30 oil users?

    I use Amsoil 0W-30 in my Civic and HR-V. The Civic had 118,000 miles on it when I started using it and now it has 566,000 miles on it.

    I'm impressed by the quality look of the Fram oil filter, metal end caps, silicon anti drain back valve. You are brave though going 20k miles. Unless you did a used oil analysis along the way, how would you know if there was a problem with the filter? The cost of the UOA would terribly upset the...

    Today is a special day to me. When I purchased my Civic in 2000, it had 64,000 miles on it. I have now personally put over 500,000 miles on it.

    Turkey baster method each OCI? I use a MityVac, much faster than turkey baster. The MITYVAC is see-through, almost making the job pleasant.

    No rebuild, engine and transmission are original, power steering pump is original un-rebuilt, alternator is original but has been rebuilt. I want to keep it as original as possible.

    Sorry for the previous pictures, camera went bad. The new one takes pretty good photos. 563,000 miles.
