I use Amsoil 0W-30 in my Civic and HR-V. The Civic had 118,000 miles on it when I started using it and now it has 566,000 miles on it.

I agree, I would like to post the original report, please let me know when you figure it out. Until then, it's typing for me.

Your PC is through the roof! Try a Royal Purple or Amsoil oil filter to see if we can improve these numbers.

It's Amsoil for me, filter and oil. I am still very impressed at my 1993 Civic's performance after 564,000 miles.

I'm impressed by the quality look of the Fram oil filter, metal end caps, silicon anti drain back valve. You are brave though going 20k miles. Unless you did a used oil analysis along the way, how would you know if there was a problem with the filter? The cost of the UOA would terribly upset the...

My 1993 Civic just turned 564,000 miles / 907,673 kilometers.

Today is a special day to me. When I purchased my Civic in 2000, it had 64,000 miles on it. I have now personally put over 500,000 miles on it.

Turkey baster method each OCI? I use a MityVac, much faster than turkey baster. The MITYVAC is see-through, almost making the job pleasant.

I just want to add that I always use the Honda power steering fluid.

I change the PS fluid every oil change at least. I am amazed that it is still working.

This photo was supposed to be shown with the other two, but was missing. I retook it this morning.

No rebuild, engine and transmission are original, power steering pump is original un-rebuilt, alternator is original but has been rebuilt. I want to keep it as original as possible.
