Using ACEA C3 Oil where SN and SN Plus is required

I, too, am contemplating switching from 0w20 to either a 5w30 or 0w30. I was looking at Mobil 1 0w30 AFE though. What's the difference between 0w30 AFE and 0w30 ESP? By biggest concern are the API SP and ILSAC 6 ratings in regards to whatever relation they have on IVD and the like. I want an oil...

yep. A buddy found that out when his CC lines froze which caused his rear main on his baby-max (Colorado) to burp out oil.

    Calling All Milk Drinkers

yep! We buy 4 gallons at a time and I'm the only one who drinks it. I drink 2% but like whole as well. One time we needed milk and I picked up 4 gallons and my GF picked up 4 gallons. So we had 8 gallons in the fridge. I drank it all before any of it expired. I drink either milk or water. No...

    Is 87 Octane a "Top-Tier"?

Octane has nothing to do with being Top Tier or not. It's all dependant on the brand and whether they meet TT standards. If a certain brand does, then ALL octane levels must. Both Shell and Chevron are TT, therefore their 87 octane will meet TT standards.

A little salty?? To me it seems like a much cleaner design. I also like the O ring seal on the cover.

    Pressure washer psi/gpm question

IMO, flow is more important than pressure. Look for a CAT triplex pump and GX series motor. Like these. https://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Simpson-ALH3228-S-Pressure-Washer/p16096.html https://www.pressurewashersdirect.com/Pressure-Pro-PPS2533HCI-Pressure-Washer/p15789.html AR triplex...

    Pressure washer psi/gpm question

Mine is actually under rated. I put a pressure gauge on it and a flow meter in the hose. It actually does 4.2GPM @4,400 psi with the OEM 4.0 nozzle. I use a huge 7.0 40° tip for general cleaning to lower the pressure while keeping GPM high. Still produces ~2,000 psi pressure though. You can...

I agree, however the commentary was brutal to listen to and is what I was referring to. It was like watching a fish out of water.

He's a Ford master tech that's pretending to be an oil guy. IMO, he's out of his element.
