In BC Canada where I live, inspection isn't required, except for commercial vehicles. But they do random ride side checks, and will inspect your vehicle right there on the side of the hwy. I've been driving by several times, and seen tow trucks there, hooking up vehicles.

Exactly. A low volume station is still getting a load a week. It's not like the gas has been sitting there for months or years. Also fuel truck drivers, at least in my province, must dip the tank before dumping, to ensure that their is room for it to all fit, and not exceed 90% of the tank...

There is so much misinformation out there, I wouldn't even know where to start. But unless you're at a gas station with 50 or more year old pumps, don't worry about it. I actually put fuel into my semi trucks, as I'm dropping a load of fuel at my own cardlocks.

I drove fuel truck from 2 am till noon, then made myself a loaded omelet, ate, now watching Insane Pools on tv. Should be going for a walk with the wife and dog, then working out, but not motivated today.
