2020 Equinox 1.5T AWD, 33650 Drove around for 2 days about 100 miles after 1st dump and fill then did 2nd dump and fill with Castrol Max Trans DexronlV. Also did front transfer case with Valvoline transfer case fluid it’s a direct replacement for GM stuff. TV was a pain in the ass

RP uoa vs Pennzoil

I used RP in my 2020 Equinox and did a UOA and compared it against Pennzoil PP. the RP had a much better uoa than the Pennzoil. I have Valvoline EP in now and will compare it to both RP and Pennzoil. If it’s close to RP I’ll use Valvoline for awhile and save $ oil change.

I have a GM 1.5T which specs for 0w20. Opels and Vauxhalls have the same engine they are now 0w20 spec. We need some euro members to chime in on what their cars are using.

I would not go 20000 miles with any oil but I might use a 20k oil and take the OLM down to “change oil soon” read out.
