    Note the busted out "Cap loc" Key! That's the FIRST!! thing I do when I get a new windows keyboard, is bust out the "cap loc" I'm was sick AND TIRED TOO! of hitting the Cap Loc by mistake!

    It was a different brand lathe. It's just a little aluminum bracket, It bolts down to the bed, and then it has a whole line board in it and pinch together with the set screw as shown. There's two little bearings in there and it acts as a little live center. Yeah they had an acme thread and nut...

    Used a good Gearwrench socket too! Dumb A! Why not just use a Snap On!

    Also, I did sacrifice a 7mm gearwrench socket to make up a chuck key for the little lathe. It's ''driven" from a 1/4" drive ratchet! It Turned out a very "clean" job!

    Also, these little things DO have variable speed! I was going to add it myself, now I don't hafe t'a! It's "hidden" over on the power supply. "Hey, where do you hide the variable speed on this thing"? I "Hide It" on the power supply!

    Next thing is to make an acme thread tail-stock advance for it. You can buy it with it already on there, but it was a good $30.00 more for that one! Heck, I'll make one for about $7.00!

    I'll tell you, for $36.00 this this thing is cool!! Pablo, I have to dig up an indicator and mighty mag, I recently got all my tools here! But it's a bit of a CF down there right now! Just using it though, it seems to run very true. I will get you a reading W/I a few days!
