TGMO SN 0w20 vs Motul Ecolite SN 0w20

Just to share some observations: TGMO looks less viscious During start and stop, oil temperature rise faster with TGMO even though so far never exceed 104 centigrade where Ecolite normally holds on 102 centigrade Noise level is about the same when oil is new Pricewise TGMO 40 percent cheaper...

Who makes good ball joints these days?

I think the most difficult part is who make the part for your car model, typically OE is still the best even though some reputable Japanese company like GMB quality is also good. The other difficult part is whether you can get genuine part and not fake part, so sometimes it does give peace of...

Mecredes Bosch vs Ngk sparks plug

I have tried both Bosch Ir fusion and NGK Iridium IX on merc after replacing the original copper plug. The result, the Bosch iridium died within 10k km due to fouling and the NGK survives for long time including coolant leak eipsode. As much as I like Bosch OE Iridium performance, I am leery on...

    Loud vs Quiet Oils

On 30 weight Mobil 1 is quite noisy for standard edition but EP is quieter. Interestingly 0w20 EP is very quiet. So nowadays only AP, EP or AFE is on my radar
