Ive been using the castrol gtx hm in the wifes 13 equinox with the oil burning issues. The gtx has less phosphorus and replaced by other additives (to protect or prolong the catalytic converter)... yall know... . Learned a few months ago that they have the Edge hm with the same additive...

Im in the same boat. Ive been using castrol gtx high milage which seems to be doing just fine. Still burns oil but im not spending a penny on this pos.

SN Plus was developed to protect agains LSPI why would a sticker saying d1g2 or ford whatever mean any different? I dont trust anything chevrolet would push i am over their crap product for good.
