The f150 was new. Just junk. The Jag was used, so unsure on PM.

    Crown Vic P7B...a good buy?

I called the PD it came from. They told me it was a transport car. Basically admin type use, all highway miles. Maybe a few out of State trips. Carfax shows 30+ svc records like clockwork.

    Crown Vic P7B...a good buy?

I find the gas vehicle nostalgic. It's not a love hate thing, it's just a nostalgia deal.

    P71 = 2010 and 2011 P7B. Just a name change.

No clue what it was used for, but no holes.

Those are super cool, and to buy used is a huge financial flex. Awesome ride!

    Crown Vic P7B...a good buy?

I found a P7B car. 2011. It has 126k miles, and 507 idle hours on it, and appears in good shape from photos. Reason for purchase is that this was my first car, albeit a 1993 P71. Im kindof fond of them. It will keep miles off my ev6 GT, which I want to keep long term. I have a 10/120k bumper to...

Take it to the local audio shop of your choice and give them a budget.

Looking to get a ZO6 corvette

Unless a rat chewed a wire in half, it's bomb proof. I had a 2001 ws6. As profile indicates. I beat on it for 149k miles and it was running great the day I sold it. Sure a few things went out, but nothing wild. Clutch, hydraulics and to bearing will be the biggest c5z concern imo. The rest is...

Looking to get a ZO6 corvette

They were just really solid cars. Parts are common and available. The ls6 engine is absolutely a legend for a reason. Super easy to get another 100whp out of if 405 isn't enough, handling is very good. Interior is par for the course for GM though. It's just the best 25k you can spend in its...

IMO, C5Z 2004 was peak corvette. It was all down hill from there.

I'm mainly referring to them using inferior parts. A friend of mine had an f150. Lemon lawed. One of the new ones. So...1 for 2? Doc had a Jag 5.0 too. So did another coworker. One cooked the engine. One is fine. So...2 for 3? Meh.

While I like American made stuff, not when it comes to vehicles. American made vehicles consistently perform in the bottom half of quality/reliability surveys, and this also mirrors my personal experience over 20 years of buying cars.

Tesla is constantly cutting corners. Big reason I bought an Ev6 GT.

Chinese EV Thoughts? Curious on more technical info

China CAN do awesome things and has very advanced tech. They are also extremely corrupt and will do anything they can to pocket a Yuan. If you do not run the factory, or have a representative there who is 100% ON IT, you're going to get pure trash out of China. Basically, think of a car from...

    Blazer EV SS - Nice!

It's not that much of a difference. I had an ev6 wind tech for a week. My commute is 80mi. I'd charge to 80%, and arrive home at 49-53%. Next week with my GT and similar weather, 46-49%. Not a huge delta.

I haven't heard of any issues. What are you seeing?

    Blazer EV SS - Nice!

Every time I run in a 1/4 or 1/2 mile event. Otherwise I'd drive a Camry.

Yeah, it's nuts how they don't limit the corvette altogether 112. I mean, what road, right? Lol
