    Kubota HHTA0-37710 Hydraulic Oil Filter 10yrs 325hrs

This filter was the Factory Filter that came on my Kubota L4701. Has a 400 hr replacement interval (no time given change in manual) so I let it go for 10 years.. Seems like it held up just fine. The bottom plate came loose from the glue when I pulled on it, but don't think that affected the...

    XG7317 C&P 8k miles 2008 CRV

Filter was run for nearly a year an 8k miles on 2008 CRV. Looked good to me. Nice straight media (not an OG Ultra) Anti-drain back valve was soft and pliable. Was replaced with Supertech MP7317 and Chevron SynBlend 5w-30.

    PH3614 C&P 3000 miles 1yr Chevron SynBlend 5w-30

Pretty Typical Extra Guard. Media sure wasn't straight but no tears that I saw. Anti-drainback valve was pliable. Overall I think it did its job. Was replaced by a Champ XL and more syn-blend 5w-30. Was run on a 2002 Chevy Tracker 2.5 V6.

Looking to buy a used Mazda 3 - what to look for, what to avoid

All those engines are fine IMO. If you can find a nice deal on a 16 or newer they had an update and are all around nicer. That's what I'd be looking to replace my 07 with if something was to happen to it.. From my shopping Manual transmissions are rare and command a premium on the used market...

    Michelin premiere LTX sidewall cracking

That’s the reason I don’t buy Michelin tires… I’m normally replacing tires due to age not wear, and in my experience they age faster than other brands.

    ZF8HP50 fluid exchange frequency?

My truck is approaching 70K and I have all the stuff to do the change, but the drain bolt on the pan is less than an inch above my exhaust X and I don't see how I'm going to get it done without lowering the exhaust.. Plenty of folks say you don't have to, but even if I cut an Allen wrench I...

Project Farm tests coolant boosters/water wetters

I'll be honest I enjoy his videos.. I think his testing on tools is often quite good. I've always thought if your car needs anything other than antifreeze to stay cool you have a problem that needs fixing so no reason to dabble in the coolant snake oil realm.

Is my HF 4 amp charger maintaining?

When you hook one of them up they pulse the voltage as they are charging, will go up and down constantly until they reach charge. Here's how HF describes the charger: Microprocessor technology gives this battery charger the power to charge most 6V and 12V batteries including deep-cycle, gel...
