    High quality seat covers

No I like them, but what they had just weren't as nice for the truck or the Caprice.

Anybody getting tired of South Main Auto?

I will tell you I love SMA. The guy can troubleshoot. I spend a good portion of my life troubleshooting problems on submarines and Eric O certainly has a very good method for getting to the bottom of a problem. I would agree he does his best to to keep it PG and I laugh at that because I could...

    High quality seat covers

Funny you mention it; I was going to post a thread with the ones I use in the Caprice and the Silverado. I wanted something to protect the trucks seats as they are cloth. I couldn't find a truck with rubber floors or vinyl seats. I found these Car Pass for the front and rear. I have had them a...

Coolant leak detector UV dye not safe to use with Deathcool

Well, I have used it in a few of my DEX equipped cars with no issue. Maybe they don't want to be blamed for issues down the road?

What are you working on today?

It is sealed both sides. The original had a bolt that ran into the cam. The updated one was keyed to fit into a grove in the cam. No bolt required. Ford 3.0 water pump

What are you working on today?

Water pump on the Ford 500 today. I am certain it was original I don't know how it was water pumping. LOL. Impeller was rubbing on the housing and tons of play. I'm guessing since it is cam driven it kept it centered. Worst I have personally ever seen. Thing still runs like a top and it took...

    Gm l87 engine failures?

Well there was a L92, L9H, L94 LS3, LS9,LT1, LT4, LT5, L86, L87. These are LS and LT based 6.2s. I am probably forgetting some. I know I am. All 6.2 liter displacement engines. L87 replaced the L86 in GM trucks and SUVs. L86 and L87 are almost identical but have different fuel management...

    DIYers Mower parts on hand

I have too many spare parts, but I like to tinker with the mowers, so people will give me broke stuff so I can fix it and give it to people who need it. I typically have 4 fully operational riders on hand.

Home sales slowed slightly, but still above asking price

It is crazy here in Wa. I paid 295,000 for my house in 2010. It now worth about 750,000 to 780,000

LB7 injectors. Nope done with that.

I finally dug the ones I took out of my phone. I didn't take many as we were learning as we went. Really not any harder than say a cam swap on an LS/LT engine, actually probably easier. We just took our time. 232,000 miles You can see the return line in this photo and injector hold down...

My dad had one and it was decent, never gave him any trouble. 33,000? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Laws broken in Top Gun: Maverick

LOL. Yeah just about all of them, but Down Periscope is the most accurate! I do like all of those movies.

Laws broken in Top Gun: Maverick

Exactly. That is why I don't nitpick submarine movies.

Have you ever had a leak after an oil change?

Knock on wood I have never had that happen. However...I had changed the oil in the Trans Am moved it out of the garage and ran inside to use the bathroom. While I was in there the wife drove our CTS right into the full oil change pan. What a mess! Had to do the front brakes on the Cadillac too...

    Airlift bags and compressor

I have a set of 7500XLs for my 2024. I have not gotten them on yet. Plan is to get them installed weekend after next. I have been messing with my sons LB7 Duramax. It is finally fixed, so I can get them put on. My buddy has the 7500s on his 2021 2500HD and I really like how they work. All of...
