2006 Harley Electra Glide Twin Cam 88

I looked at the D&D 2 into one but a little too pricey, so I put on the Vance&Hines slip ons instead. The mid controls made my old knees ache after about 30 minutes so I put the Harley forward controls on and am comfortable all day. At 6’3” tall, the mids didn’t work for me.

That’s a great mower. I had one about 15 years ago. You could have gotten at least $200 on FB/CL.

    Power Steering Fluid Change Questions

I’ve been slowly changing mine with a turkey baster over the last month or so. I can get about 3/4 of a pint each time and it’s getting nice and red in color. My owners manual calls for Mercon V and I’m using the Supertech version.

    Pressure washer dumpster find

I replaced the old ‘ wiggle wobble ‘ pump on my Excell Honda powered pressure washer with a new upgraded axial pump a couple of years ago. I ran it for 2 days straight on my deck, sidewalks and driveway without a hiccup. What a difference in smoothness and water pressure for less than $100!

    Dodge getting back into NASCAR

I just talked to a Hendrick engine builder that told me exactly that this morning. He said they were going to start with the trucks and will probably have cup cars in 2026 or 2027. Great news, I’ll have 3 manufacturers to pull for!

Any BITOGERs have or thought about converting their automatic garage door opener to a side/ wall mount

Ive had 2 wall mounts over the last 25 years due to a low clearance ceiling in my basement garage. I currently have the Chamberlain wall mounted My Q smartphone opener for 5 years or so. It has an automatic locking feature ( similar to a dead bolt lock ) every time it closes. Very quiet and...

What’s your mileage limit for buying a used car?

I bought this one owner 2000 Ford Focus wagon on April 10th with 119,000 miles. After a 600 mile beach trip and many 100 to 200 mile day trips it runs and drives great, currently at 124,000 miles and averaging roughly 30 mpg. I have the service records from 6 miles and realize It’s a 1/4 century...

drive cycle duration when use is infrequent?

It’s not just about engine oil. I take my wife’s 2.0T automatic out every couple of months for a minimum of a 50 mile drive in city, country roads and the last 10 miles of interstate at 70 to 75 mph driving. It gets the engine, transmission and differential heated up to operating temps which...
