Some cheap tires from Walmart via Simple Tire

His time is worth $. He honoured his part of the deal by providing payment and they might have honoured theirs by delivering. It's shouldn't be considered free when that's what was advertised and his interpretation was reasonable (must be old stock).

Some cheap tires from Walmart via Simple Tire

Some of the comments in this thread seem harsh to me. OP bought what was advertised as 4 tires and it sounds like the company might have shipped out 4 tires. They only realized after the order was processed that 4 tires might have shipped. If the order is received, he shouldn't have to...

    2019 Honda CR-V 1.5T, Mobil 1 EP 0W20, 5,104 miles

Very curious to see your upcoming UOA himemsys. I'm not sure if 91 octane (95RON) is standard in Germany or if many stations have 87 available. If 91 is mostly used, it would be interesting to see if that's one of the reasons they recommend a longer interval. .

    2019 Honda CR-V 1.5T, Mobil 1 EP 0W20, 5,104 miles

Sucks to see the liqui moly germany website recommend x30 oils for this engine (selected a 2017 european civic with the same 1.5T): The 12.4k miles recommended interval seems wild considering this UOA is less than half of that. but if we change the region to United States and select the CR-V:

    Time limitations on public chargers.

Didn't take any of that into consideration and so learned something new today. For this day trip, I wasn't driving home afterwards and the route was mountainous. It's not uncommon to hear electric car owners say they'll use seat warmers instead of the HVAC system to keep warm...

    Time limitations on public chargers.

You're right but in my mind, it takes 5 hours of driving for this day trip and a lift ticket these days costs $100USD/day. Time is precious. Since the parking lot becomes full, it would be an ordeal to find a free spot. Worse part was I still had to go to a Tesla Supercharger after the 8 hours...

    Time limitations on public chargers.

Took a rented Tesla to a ski resort last winter and had noticed on the dashcam that more than one person checked the charge port light to see if it was fully charged. Even though it never fully charged after the ~8hours or so it was parked, it feels awkward to know leaving your car might seem...

Something Different - Artificial Graphene Brake Pads from China

I too was distrustful at first but I'm coming at this thread with studies and real life experience. So far, I've put over 6,000 miles on them with my Honda and the braking power has been unbelievable. Going from 80mph to a quick stop feels smooth as hell. Everyone else has been great in...

    Need Shocks

Just a heads up, the ones for your model are made in China like mine were but as mentioned earlier - they're top notch..

    Need Shocks

You won't find them on rockauto but Sachs makes the rear shocks for your car. Part# 316 896 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sxr-316-896/make/ford/model/fiesta/year/2013 Price is right compared to the other brands on rockauto. I've found them to be much better than the OEM when I got them 3...

    Canadian Smoke

It did not smell like smoke, just smelled foul. It could be neglect and unrelated to the smoke but I didn't see any debris on the top that could have caused the smell or would indicate the filter was used for a long time.

Something Different - Artificial Graphene Brake Pads from China

Since the set on my Honda brought so much confidence, I got a second set for my other car - a 2009 BMW 535xi. The cost was significantly higher so it seems like they charge more depending on the car brand. Before shipping to Canada, it was $166US for the set compared to $105 for the HR-V...

    Accidental extreme OCI

He probably says my oil needs to be changed but is too busy thinking about other more important things in his life and is unable to manage it all. Those with ADHD in this thread will know the feeling. Thanks to his stepdad, all is well. Seems like that's what family is all about to me

    Canadian Smoke

Got a Honda CRV as a loaner car from the dealer yesterday. The HVAC system smelled like a dead animal. Since I have the car for 20 days, the debate to change it myself didn't last long. Bought one of those new Fram TrueAir N95 filters from Walmart and the difference is day and night. Could...

    Accidental extreme OCI

Just want to say how awesome it is to read you helping out your stepson like this. In Canada, 86% of adults with autism are unemployed. Once heard that autistic people like to do an insane amount of driving because in their car, they feel in control of their sensory stimulation. Car gives...

    Canadian Smoke

There's some fires 60 miles away from me so the numbers are scary. Many don't seem to realize the impact and some are even laughing at those wearing masks.... Was very happy to have a PM2.5 filter in my car today which was purchased from Amazon Japan...

    Chinese filters

If I had doubts, I would be looking less at the country of manufacture and more at cutting one open or looking if someone else here has done so already Every country can have great factories and bad ones. It all depends on the management. Photo taken by @Verminator...

At that point, it's probably cheaper to order on Amazon instead of spending the gas. $26 for one ($19.36US) with free shipping if it's your first order or $47 ($35US) for two with free shipping https://www.amazon.ca/Line-60103-Complete-System-Cleaner/ If you've got a Hyundai dealer near you...

Asian vs. Domestic DOT 3 Brake Fluid

Not very helpful but this is what the manufacturer (Recochem) has to say about it: https://oemeasymatch.com/faq-brake-fluid/ They all share the same safety data sheet so I think it's some kind of marketing method to try to get you to buy it over other brands. Looks like you're right

    Mobi Jet Oil - VOA

Came across a review earlier today which said something similar. My search shows the viscosity of supercharger oil is normally at least 10 cSt @ 100C so the results are surprising Didn't realize the single quart also came in a can until reading your post. Pretty cool
