ESP 5w-30 and ST 0w-40 now in stock at Wally World

Yep, the oddball though is that he said the ST was the same ~$18 as the others. Not sure if he’s mistaken but clearly not the case in my area… No reason to buy it over M1.

Old LT1000 917259520 needs a tune up kit,,

Fram’s part finder will only list the OE equivalent model, which is the 8170. The 3614 is just a longer version, the 3600 longer yet. Most run the 3614 as a bigger filter will hold slightly more oil and provide a larger filtering surface. It also gives you a bunch more manufactures to choose...

    Do engines get fatigue wear?

Not aluminum anyways… :ROFLMAO: Now that I think more about it, the pistons are hypereutectic aluminum as well.

    Do engines get fatigue wear?

Lower intake manifold is aluminum, the rest of the engine is cast iron.

    High RPM to Remove Carbon

My Outback approves this statement. I removed the factory muffler and front pipe and went with a aftermarket option. I agree though, I hate the sound of aftermarket exhaust on inline 4's. The boxer's unique exhaust note is the only reason I did it.

Need help with 1996 Chevy Caprice 4.3 V8 fluids.

For 96 it will have either a 2.93 or 3.23 rear gear, dinky 7.5” 10 bolt IIRC. Check the RPO codes in the glovebox. The 75w-90 is fine, the diff is nothing special. Limited slip was optional, code will be G80 if you have it.

Best high mileage oil for 2004 Forester XT with EJ257

I can personally vouch for Castrol GTX High Mileage syn-blend (green jug) resolving a weepy rear main on my 98. I used 10w-40. Heard plenty of good things about Valvoline MaxLife HM as well, also a blend.
