    Kawasaki fr691v smokes badly

Also, I assume the milky valve cover was from the dead cylinder side? Goo is most likely from condensation buildup due to lack of heat from combustion.

    Kawasaki fr691v smokes badly

Have you changed the oil yet? Any idea on the maintenance history, if any? Wondering if the rings are loaded up from lack of oil changes.

Pi-hole v6 has had some...bumps. Seems they have mostly gotten the kinks worked out but there are still some lingering issues. For the most part it continues to preform its duties just fine, for me at least. In my case, I have Cloudflare Tunnel handling the DoH function setup on the same box as...

GM 2.4L Ecotec LAF/LEA - Any known problems?

Not sure where you are getting your info about the Equinox and the 3.6 but its wrong. No Equinox ever had a LLT 3.6. The LFX 3.6 started with the 2013MY and ran through the 2017MY. The 2010-2012MY's had a LF1/LFW 3.0 V6 option.

Mixed 2 Cycle gas in a new vehicle?

I've always dumped my leftover mixed 2 cycle gas into one of the vehicles. It will be fine, the concentration will be very weak once mixed with whats in your vehicles tank. Just think of it as a fuel pump lube.

2025 Toyota 2.5L Engine Oil Viscosity Update.

Looks like the current SAE 10W is mostly a hydraulic oil now? For my case, it may have been 10w, been too long now. Regardless, it was a automotive mono 10 grade that was off the shelf at the time.

My oil leaks are completely fixed.

As the wise old proverb states, "If it leaks oil, it has oil". I has similar results with Castrol GTX HM synthblend resolving a RMS leak on my 98.

2025 Toyota 2.5L Engine Oil Viscosity Update.

My dad and I used SAE10 monograde Resolute brand oil from Fleet Farm as a flush oil after we did the intake gaskets on my '98 K1500. Previous gaskets leaked and I had oil/coolant snot a plenty internally. I don't remember if we used anything else with it but we used the 10 after getting it back...

    Best Off-the-Shelf xW-40 or xW-50 Oil....that Cleans?

From what it looks like online, its entirely normal for the 22RE to have low oil pressure at hot idle. Like 5 psi low. Apparently the minimum spec is 4.3 psi. Also remember, the engine is spending most of its runtime well above idle. For the long haul, I agree and would run a 40 weight. But...
